A Typical Day at Learn and Grow

7:30 - 9:00 AM

As soon as your child arrives, they will be greeted by a member of our staff. After a thorough health check, they will engage in free play such as table top toys, blocks, puppets, and coloring!

Free play is a great way for your child to get excited about the day ahead.

Now that your child is filled with nutritious food, it's time to get some exercise!

Breakfast is typically followed by stretching, music, dancing and a mind exercise to get out all of the kinks.

Circle time begins your child's day of learning. This time is filled with shared active experiences that set the stage for the exploration ahead. Children and adults are together for action songs, cooperative games and projects, movement activities, storytelling, and more.

The largest block of time in the classroom is dedicated to free exploration when your child interacts with classmates, teachers and materials. At Learn and Grow, we also recognize the importance of one-on-one education. Therefore, teachers will work with your child individually and in small groups, on core curriculum. This helps to ensure that every child's educational needs are met.

Outdoor play gives your child the needed opportunity to get fresh air and explore the natural environment. Our yard offers a natural playscape with a sliding hill, a balancing log, stepping stumps, and an in-ground sand pit. In addition, the children enjoy gardening, ride-on toys, outdoor blocks and swings.
