Our Program
Our Philosophy
We at Learn and Grow Child Care believe in the capability of children and understand that precious moments of wonder are critical to children’s growth and development. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which focuses on the natural development of children in close relationship with their environment.
Learn and Grow looks to provide young children with learning experiences that help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. We understand that a child’s mind is constantly inquiring. Our children are encouraged and given the opportunity to interact with their environment, peers, and teachers. Learn and Grow strives to create a school that is deserving of children – a place that feels like a home away from home, but is also rich with the kinds of materials and experiences that make a school a unique place for children.

Learn and Grow Child Care respects diversity and the social and cultural backgrounds of all our families. We understand that everyone brings culture and diversity into our program based on their beliefs, family background and life experiences. We aim to provide a child care environment which is free from bias and prejudice, and where children learn the principles of fairness and respect for the uniqueness of each person. Differences in backgrounds, culture and abilities are valued and families are actively encouraged to share their experiences with educators/staff and other families. If your child’s home language is other than English, please help us greet your child in a way that is most accepting, by providing your child’s teacher with greetings in the home language. If your family celebrates a holiday that you would like us to plan for, please let your child’s teacher know. We value every family's input into the curriculum.

Who We Are
Learn and Grow Child Care is the inspiration of two sisters who began their journey as early childhood educators over 25 years ago. Together, they have taught in almost every area of early childhood learning including Mommy and Me, Toddler, Nursery School, Pre-K, kindergarten, literacy and after-school enrichment. They see the need for quality early childhood education and child care. Learn and Grow is their response to the community's needs.
